Band Staff






Ms. Helen Foster
Ms. Foster graduated from Boone Grove High School in Valparaiso, IN in 1999. In 2009 Ms. Foster earned a Bachelor of Music Education at Indiana Purdue University in Fort Wayne, IN. She is a current member of the IPFW Community Orchestra and Clarinet Choir. Ms. Foster teaches a clarinet studio. Ms. Foster has taught at many area high schools, including ISSMA state finalists North Side High School and Heritage High School.
Luke Holliger
Luke is our visual caption head at CCHS. Luke is a graduate of Columbia City High School, and has taught and marched for numerous drum corps including Madison Scouts and Blue Coats. Luke has taught at a number of local schools including DeKalb and Snider High Schools. He currently works with elementary students in the East Noble School Corporation. With his hard work, our winter guard finished third in IHSCGA Regional A for 2012.

Amy Yadon and Karen Rodenbeck
Amy and Karen are our fantastic Color Guard staff. They are both graduates of Homestead High School. They have team-taught at Carroll, Snider, and Heritage High Schools. With their hard work, our winter guard finished third in IHSCGA Regional A for 2012.

Jon Bay
Originally from Springport, IN where he attended Blue River Valley High School and later graduated (which gained him 3 consecutive Class D State Runner-up finishes), Jon joined the staff after graduation to teach. He then joined the Glassmen Drum and Bugle corps where he marched "soprano" for 3 seasons - 94, 95, 96. After "Aging out" of the Glassmen, Jon was asked to be on the visual staff. While on staff he was part of the highest finish in the Corps' history - 5th place (98 and 99). Jon currently is the visual designer for several marching bands in the state including Bluffton, Norwell, Fairfield, Blue River Valley, Carroll, and Huntington North. In addition to his marching band experience, Jon is well-seasoned in both winter percussion and winter guard; where he has instructed and designed for several groups in Indiana and Florida. Jon has a bachelor's degree in marketing from Indiana Institute of technology, but his true talent lies with the marching arts. Jon is happily married and is a "stay-at home" father of three children. While being at home with his children, Jon continues his visual design work. His expertise has gained him an immense sense of pride and recognition with both high school bands and its music community .

Kent Klee
Mr. Klee is the arranger of CCHS Marching Music! Mr. Klee is a graduate of North Side High School in Fort Wayne and IPFW. Kent plays professionally and teaches around the Fort Wayne area. He currently is on staff with the Homestead and Snider Marching Bands as music and percussion arranger as well as percussion instructor.
